Beliefs

God

We believe that there is only one God, holy, immutable and eternal, who reveals Himself in three distinct Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Bible

We believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of God, a complete written and truthful revelation.

State of Human Nature

We believe that all mankind is born into a sinful nature (the result of original Adamic sin) and as a result separated from God. Reconciliation or "redemption" from this state is not achieved through a single act or compilation or merit, performance, or "being a good person," but exclusively through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and the acceptance of his death on the cross, offered to atone for the sins of mankind for all who believe.

Rapture/Return

We believe Jesus will remove Believers from the earth (The Rapture) prior to what the Bible prophesies as the "Great Tribulation" and subsequently return following this time with Believers to reign forever.

Jesus

We believe of Jesus: 1) the Messiah as promised and prophesied in the Old Testament, 2) Was born of a virgin, 3) Was without sin, 4) God become Man, 5) Died for our sins on the cross, 6) Was buried and rose from the dead (resurrected), 7) Ascended into Heaven, 8) Intercedes for us (Believers), 9) Has been given all authority in Heaven and on earth.

Evil

We believe the Devil (Satan) and demons are real, fallen angels, intent on deceiving the world and destroying God's work. Believers, who are protected by God the Holy Spirit and Jesus' intercession, can both resist and defeat these forces.

Believers

We believe that genuine Believers are born again by the Holy Spirit who indwells and provides gifts, and are inseparable from the love of Jesus Christ

Heaven/Hell

We believe that both Heaven and Hell are real places, where in the former Believers will live eternally in the presence of God worshipping Him, and in latter unbelievers will live forever in torment apart from Him.

Male/Female

We believe the human race was created directly by God as male and female in his image.

Marriage

We believe marriage is a life-long sacred union created by God between a man and a woman, limiting sexual relations to monogamy in a heterosexual marriage.
